At Recovery Associates of the Palm Beaches, we understand the unique needs of Christians suffering from addiction and have years of experience addressing those needs. Our Christian program, Bridge to Faith, was built upon the sturdy foundation of Christ Jesus and His word and focuses on the Twelve Spiritual Principles of recovery, which include: Honesty, Hope, Faith, Courage, Integrity, Willingness, Humility, Love for Others (Brotherly and Sisterly), Justice, Perseverance, Spirituality and Service. We firmly believe in the importance of incorporating the Twelve Steps while nurturing a strong relationship with God. Our compassionate staff members believe that anything is possible with faith and strive to help clients come to this realization, as well. We are committed to freeing clients of their feelings of guilt and shame and implementing a sense of self-confidence and accountability. Part of our services at Recovery Associates of the Palm Beaches include helping clients to know God as an abundant source of love and grace. We teach them to turn to Him in times of struggle and strife, instead of drugs and alcohol.
Bridge to Faith provides over eighty hours of weekly clinical groups, which includes over twenty hours of Christian group sessions. In order to meet the specific needs of our Christian clients, we offer the following services:
- Dual Diagnosis Treatment to diagnose and treat co-occurring disorders that have contributed to addiction and must be treated to experience a full recovery
- Christian Sober Living options give recovering Christian addicts the opportunity to surround themselves with other recovering Christians in a safe, structured living environment
- Weekly Individual Counseling provides clients with the chance to meet with a board certified addictions counselor to discuss any and all aspects of their addiction in a private setting
- Monthly Outreach Events, such as cookouts on the beach, recreational activities or trips to local attractions
- Trauma Therapy (EMDR) address traumatic situations that have contributed to addictive behaviors, such as loss or abuse
- Transportation to and from Twelve Step meetings, treatment and other necessary locations
